Explanation of the operation devices

(2) How to stop automatic purging
If the purge process must be stopped due to the given operating environment during automatic purging, the

following method can be used to stop purging.

The following message is displayed while automatic purging is stopped.

Use the same operations to resume purging as for stopping purging, as described below.

If the engine water temperature falls during automatic purging, the message will disappear, and it
will be impossible to resume purging.
After that, if the engine water temperature rises, the "AUTO-PURGING STOPPED" message
will be displayed again to enable resuming.

(3) Automatic purging requested

Automatic purging normally occurs automatically approximately every 30 hours, but sometimes it does not occur,

depending on the water temperature and engine speed status.

If no purging has occurred for a certain period of time, the warning alarm may beep with the following message

displayed.

Automatic purging is enabled by using the

accelerator dial to increase engine speed above
medium speed (about 1400min

-1

).

If the water temperature is low, warm up the

engine until the water temperature gauge is
above the position shown to the right (about
70

℃

) before purging.

・

If a message indicating that automatic purging

is requested is displayed several times,
eventually manual purging is requested.
