6. Operation

6-3-5 Jack-up procedure

(01E0-0185-1E)

Never get under the jacked up machine. If there is no alternative, you must ﬁrst support the

machine with blocks or other secure supports for safety.

・

If you are jacking up with the bucket in the reversed position, take care not to press the bucket

tip down onto the ground surface. This is dangerous as it would impose excessive forces
throughout the front attachment.

To jack up the machine, press the flat portion of the bucket's base
slowly against the ground. When doing so, keep the angle between the
arm and the boom in the range of 90

After jacking up, always place a block or other secure support under the traveling frame for

safety to support the machine.

・

Place the front attachment in a stable position, stop the engine and move the safety lock lever

to the lock position.

・

If you are jacking up with the bucket in the reversed position, take care not to press the point

tip down onto the ground surface. This is dangerous as it would impose excessive forces
throughout the front attachment and damage the machine.
