(1) Hydraulic oil
1) Selection of hydraulic oil

Select the hydraulic oil based on the local outside temperature and the rated maximum operating temperature of

the hydraulic oil itself, where the upper limit is determined by the maximum operating temperature and the
lower limit by the minimum outside temperature (see table below).

Note that even if a hydraulic oil with a ISO VG number appropriate for the outside temperature is selected, the

operating temperature could exceed the upper operating temperature limit, depending on the operation. In such
cases, select a hydraulic oil with a higher VG number.

2) Hydraulic oil operating temperature

The operating temperature has a great impact on hydraulic equipment, so if for example you are using hydraulic

oil displaying an ISO viscosity grade number of VG46 listed in the "Recommended lubricants table", pay
attention to the following temperature range.
