Wireless M-Bus + pulse outputs (type no.: HC-003-31)
The Wireless M-Bus module is designed for use in both Wireless M-Bus systems for reading with READy Converter
and Wireless M-Bus network systems that operate within the licence-free frequency band in the 868 MHz range.
The communication protocol is C mode or T mode according to the standard EN13757-4. The Wireless M-Bus
module supports both individual and common encryption key. However, the common encryption key is only
available on request.
The modules are available with connection to both internal and external antenna.
The output data package can be configured to include various register combinations by means of METERTOOL HCW
and READy.
See paragraph 11.5 for information about mounting of antenna.
11.4.8
Analogue output module (type no.: HC-003-40)
The analog outputs are primarily used in connection with building automation and in industrial applications. Here,
the analog outputs are often used to forward information that is to be displayed on third-party equipment, typically
a PLC or similar. The analog outputs must be able to update values quickly as they are often used in applications for
regulation based on flow, energy or temperatures. The two analog outputs can be scaled individually to adapt values
such as flow, power or temperatures for 0...20 mA or 4...20 mA power.
The module is supplied via the power supply in MULTICAL®.
The analog output module requires an isolated 24 VAC/DC supply to drive the power outputs. MULTICAL® 803 has a
24 VDC supply available that can be used for this purpose.
