Q.
The PC is turned on but nothing appears on the screen.
A.
If the screen blacks out during operation, check the following.
•
When the (Stand By) lamp is lit.
• Move the stick or press any key on the keyboard to check if the power-saving function is
working.
• Check whether the VGA cable has been disconnected with the external display mode
still set.
While pressing Fn , press F10 . (Each time you do this, you can change between external
display and LCD modes.)
Before disconnecting the VGA cable, select a mode other than CRT (externally connected),
and proceed. (Page 65)
• To adjust the LCD display brightness:

of center keys turns the screen darker.
Pressing

of center keys turns the screen brighter.
•
When the (Stand By) lamp is flashing.
The PC is in standby mode (The power-saving mode is working).
Press the On/Off key or any key on the keyboard.
Important
Pressing the
(On/Off) key for more than 4 seconds terminates Windows forcibly, discarding
the unsaved data.
•
When the (Stand By) lamp is not lit.
The PC is turned off. Press the
(On/Off) key to turn on your PC.
