Power-saving Mode
In compliance with the operation regulations of the International Energy Star Program, this unit
enters the power-saving mode when no operation is performed for a certain period.
On the [Power Schemes] tab in the “Power Option Properties” screen (page 79), you can specify
the time that must expire before the unit enters the power-saving mode. The table below shows
the factory settings.

The LCD screen turns off.

The LCD screen is turned off.
The (Stand By) lamp flashes in green.

• In statuses

, Windows is still running. Note that the current condition is
lost if the PC is turned off by pressing the Power key for more than 4 seconds.
• System Hibernates settings line will not appear if the hibernation is disabled. See
Hibernate tab in Power Options Properties on Mobile PC.
