Example 3: Configuring Frame Relay
The following example illustrates how to configure Frame Relay on VT 1/7/4 in path
2 of the configuration shown in Figure 11 on page 142.

Select the interface on which you want to configure Frame Relay.
host1(config)# interface serial 4/0:2/1/7/4/1

Specify Frame Relay as the encapsulation method on the interface.
host1(config-if)# encapsulation frame-relay ietf
3.
Configure the interface as a DTE, DCE, or NNI.
host1(config-if)# frame-relay intf-type dce
Example 4: Configuring PPP
The following example illustrates how to configure PPP on VT 1/2/2 in path 2 of the
