The Logical Volume Properties Editor Box gives you information and the status
of the selected logical volume. You can change the name of the Logical Volume
by first clicking on Modify Properties. Select the Name field and type in the new
name. Click Save to commit the change. See
for each of the functions
described.
The information below describes each field of the logical volume properties:
Name:
Provides the name of the selected logical volume.
Device ID:
Provides the identification number given to the device
associated with the selected logical volume.
Array ID:
Provides the identification number given to the device
associated with the selected array that is connected to
its logical volume.
Status:
Provides the state of the selected logical volume.
Job Status:
Provides the state of a background job, or if a job is
running.
Size:
Provides the size of the selected logical volume.
