Encl (Enclosure)
Identifies the number(s) of the drive slot(s) that
are available and not already part of an array configuration.
Slot Identifies the number of where the drive is seated.
Vendor - Identifies the manufacturer of the drive, such as Maxtor,
WDC, etc.
Model - Identifies the model number of the disk drive.
Action Buttons Any grayed out buttons are not active.

Expanding the Capacity of an Array
To expand capacity to an array means to add a physical drive of the same size as
the existing drives. This is NOT the same as Increase Size of a logical volume
(adding virtual space).
For example, if you have an array of 40 GB (two drives of 20 GB each), you can
add another 20 GB drive. You have now expanded the array's capacity to a total
of 60 GB.
