Additional notes about Expanding Capacity
Before you choose the Expand Capacity operation, be sure to select the correct
array icon in the Logical Configuration Panel, or you will get the following
message.

Check the size of the existing drives in the current array to be modified. You
should use a drive of the same size, or larger. Be careful not to use a drive too
much larger, since only the least amount of space of the existing drive(s) can be
added. Any additional space of the new drive will not be used.
If there is not enough space for capacity expansion, you will get a pop-up
message.

WARNING: Expand Capacity Operation cannot be aborted. However, if you
need to stop the expansion, you need to delete the complete array that is in
process of being expanded, which will cause permanent data loss.
Initializing an Array
Initializing an array is a background process that writes a known pattern to the
drives in the array. The best time to do this is when the array and RAID level are
being created the first time. When you are creating an array, the Initialize box in
the middle of the Create Array Window, is marked by default (see
Confirm the remaining settings in this window and click Next to continue. Only
