If you try to create a Snapshot volume without first selecting a logical volume,
you will get the following message (see
Figure 147 ).

If there is not enough space in your system’s configuration for a Snapshot, you

When planning your snapshot, ensure that there is the same amount of
space as the selected logical volume in the array that will hold that
snapshot. When a Snapshot is created, a list of the arrays with enough
space will be displayed. Notice the size in the Remain Space column (see
Figure 149 ).
