22. Turn the fuel outlet hose shutoff valve clockwise until
valve bottoms lightly. Valve is located on the bottom
of the fuel tank.
23. Remove fuel tank. (See “Fuel Tank (Diesel)” on
page 3-19.)
24. Remove fuel filter. (See “Fuel Filter (Diesel)” on
page 3-20.)
25. Remove four screws (19), flat washers (20), flat
washers (21), nuts (22), and fuel tank bracket (18).
26. Remove four screws (23), flat washers (24), nuts
(25), and SCU cover (26).
27. Remove muffler and exhaust assembly. (See “Muffler
(Diesel)” on page 3-13.)

28. Remove wing nuts (34)and washers (35), and secure
diesel inlet duct (36) out of the way.
29. Loosen hose clamps (29) and remove air intake
hoses (27 and 28) from air cleaner and bracket
assembly (30).
30. Remove screws (31), lock washers (32), and flat
washers (33).
31. Remove air cleaner and bracket assembly (30).

32. Remove screw (41), lock washer (42), flat washer
(43), and nut (44).
33. Remove screws (38), lock washers (39), flat washers
(40), and screen holder (46).
34. Repeat steps 32 and 33 for other side of radiator.
35. Remove screen (37) and bottom screen holder (45).

36. Remove three screws (47) and remove the splash
shield flange (48) and splash shield (49).
37. Repeat step 36 for other side of machine.
