Engine Oil Pressure Switch (Diesel)
Removal and Installation
See Figure 4-147.

CAUTION
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Raise the hood.

3. Remove screw (2) and washer (3).
4. Tag and disconnect wire (4) from the engine oil
pressure switch (1).
5. Remove engine oil pressure switch.
Installation Notes
• Install engine oil pressure switch by reversing the
order of removal.
• Apply Teflon tape to the threads of the oil pressure
switch before installing.
Engine Temperature Switch (Diesel)
Removal and Installation
See Figure 4-148.

WARNING
1. Park the mower safely. (See “Park Mower Safely” on
page 1-6.)
2. Raise the hood.

3. Remove nut (2) and washer (3).
4. Tag and disconnect wire connector (4) from the
engine temperature switch (1).
5. Remove engine temperature switch.
Installation Notes
• Install engine temperature switch by reversing the
order of removal.
• Apply Teflon tape to the threads of the engine
temperature switch before installing.
Engine components will become hot during
operation. Allow engine components to cool
before performing service.

Engine coolant is hot and under pressure! Allow
the cooling system to cool completely before
performing service.
Rotate the filler cap 1/2 turn counterclockwise
and allow pressure to vent before removing filler
cap.
