Reel Motor Amps
See Figure 4-51.
Figure 4-51
Cycle through the LCD menu until the reel motor current
screen is displayed. When in this mode two digits are
displayed as zeros for the left, center, and right reel
motors. When the reels are activated, the display will
indicate the amount of current drawn by each reel motor
or just the reel that is enabled.
Compare the three reel motor readings; if one reel motor
has a higher current draw than the others, this may
indicate a mechanical problem or a faulty reel motor.
If the current in one of the reel motors is 35 amps or more
for more than 30 seconds, the following will occur:
• The LCD sounds the alarm and turns on the fault
LED.
• Diagnostic fault code is displayed for the faulty reel.

Reel Motor Speed
See Figure 4-52.

Cycle through the LCD menu until the reel motor speed
screen is displayed. When the reels are activated, the
display will indicate the speed of each reel motor.
Compare the three reel motor readings; the three reel
motors must be operating within 50 rpm of each other.
If the speed of one of the reel motors is 200 rpm or less
for more than 30 seconds, the following will occur:
• The LCD sounds the alarm and turns on the fault
LED.
Diagnostic fault code is displayed for the faulty reel. (See
“DTC: Check Left Reel” on page 4-100.) (See “DTC:

Right Reel” on page 4-101.)
