7.
Move the raise/lower switch to the raise position.
Observe the left actuator raise output LED (4).
Does the left actuator raise output LED
illuminate?
YES
The left actuator raise output signal is good.
Proceed to the next step.
NO
The left actuator raise output signal is faulty.
Turn the key switch off, disconnect the left
actuator connectors. Turn the key switch on
and re-test. If results remain unchanged,
replace RCU. If results change, proceed to
next step.

8.
Move the raise/lower switch to the lower position.
Observe the left actuator lower output LED (5).
Does the left actuator lower output LED
illuminate?
YES
The left actuator lower output signal is good.
Proceed to the next step.
NO
The left actuator lower output signal is faulty.
Turn the key switch off, disconnect the left
actuator connectors. Turn the key switch on
and re-test. If results remain unchanged,
replace RCU. If results change, proceed to
next step.
9.
Disconnect the left actuator connector J23 (two wire
connector).
10. Connect a multimeter to the harness side of
connector J23, placing a probe on each pin. Set the
multimeter to VDC.
11. With the left reel switch enabled, move the
raise/lower switch to the raise position and observe
the voltage measurement.
12. Move the raise/lower switch to the lower position and
observe the voltage measurement.
Does the multimeter display 48VDC (+ or -) in
both switch positions?
YES
The wire harness is good. Proceed to the
next step.
NO
Wire harness or connections are faulty.
Perform continuity test and repair/replace as
needed.
13. Disconnect the left lift actuator connectors and route
them to the right lift actuator. Connect the left lift
actuator connectors to the right lift actuator. Move the
raise/lower switch in both directions.
Does the right actuator raise and lower?
YES
The left lift actuator is faulty. Replace as
needed.

Symptom: Left Front Reel Will Not Engage
IMPORTANT
The reels will not start in FOC mode until the traction
pedal is engaged. For troubleshooting purposes, enter
the maintenance mode, and set FOC to 0.00.
1. Turn the key to the run position. Enter the
maintenance mode. Toggle the LCD to the switch
status screen.

2.
Sit in the seat and enable the left reel switch.
Observe the digit at position (1).
Does the zero change to a one when the left reel
enable switch is engaged?
YES
The left reel enable switch is good. Proceed
to the next step.
NO
The left reel enable switch is faulty. Check
connections at switch and/or bench test
switch and replace as needed.
