This determines if the typema tic ra te is to be used.
When disa bled, continua lly holding down a key on your keyboa rd will genera te
only one insta nce. In other words, the BIOS will only report tha t the key is down.
When the typema tic ra te is ena bled, the BIOS will report a s before, but it will
then wa it a moment, a nd, if the key is still down, it will begin the report tha t the
key ha s been depressed repea tedly. For exa mple, you would use such a fea ture to
a ccelera te cursor movements with the a rrow keys.
