3.6 IDE Interface
3.6.1 Primary, Secondary IDE Connectors
Prima ry / Seconda ry IDE a re 40 pins interna l IDE port connectors. Use a
40 pins fla t ca ble to connect between this connector a nd the IDE devices.
Norma lly put the boot-up ha rd disk a t the prima ry IDE cha nnel a nd other
IDE devices a t the seconda ry IDE cha nnel (like CD-ROM). Ea ch IDE
connector ca n connect for two IDE devices a nd do not forget to set the
first IDE device to "Ma ster" a nd second IDE device to "Sla ve" when you
connect two IDE devices in one connector.

connect between this connector a nd floppy drives.
