3.2.9.5 Set the Pump Rate to 500 mL/hr., & VTBI >16.6 mL. Press
Start/Stop B on the Pump. Verify the pump is running as indicated by
the pulsing “>” in the upper portion of the display and Green flashing
LED in the top of the Door, and rate is set to 500 mL/hr. Press Go in the
Infusion Analyser or monitor graduated beaker. The Pump will run for
approximately 2 min then go to KVO. Press Start/Stop B on the Pump
and verify average flow rate on infusion analyzer is 500 ml +/- 5% or
graduated beaker contains 16.6 ml +/- 5%. (15.77 - 17.43)
3.2.9.6 Set the Pump Rate to 125 mL/hr., & VTBI >10.4 mL. Press
Start/Stop B on the Pump. Verify the pump is running as indicated by
the pulsing “>” in the upper portion of the display and Green flashing
LED in the top of the Door, and rate is set to 125 mL/hr. Press Go in the
Infusion Analyser or monitor graduated beaker. The Pump will run for
approximately 5 min then go to KVO. Press Start/Stop B on the Pump
and verify average flow rate on infusion analyzer is 125 ml +/- 5% or
graduated beaker contains 10.4 ml +/- 5%. (9.88 - 10.92)
3.2.9.7 Set the Pump Rate to 25 mL/hr., & VTBI >4.2 mL. Press
Start/Stop B on the Pump. Verify the pump is running as indicated by
the pulsing “>” in the upper portion of the display and Green flashing
LED in the top of the Door, and rate is set to 25 mL/hr. Press Go in the
Infusion Analyser or monitor graduated beaker. The Pump will run for
approximately 5 min then go to KVO. Press Start/Stop A on the Pump
and verify average flow rate on infusion analyzer is 25 ml +/- 5% or
graduated beaker contains 4.2 ml +/- 5%. (3.99 - 4.41)
3.2.10 3865 PM Verification
Connect 106db attenuator cable from Remote Antenna Connector to
Test Pump Antenna Connector or install Antennas on both both Remote
and Pump. Note 3860 Pump must be used to test 3865 Remote and
3850 Pump must be used to test 3855 Remote.
3.2.10.1 Press Power (I) on Pump. If New Patient and Same Patient
are displayed, press the (F1) soft key to select New Patient to bring up
the normal Channel A display. From the normal Channel A display,
press MENU key, press (F6) soft key to select Next Menu, press (F5)
soft key to select Set Comm. Channel, then press (F1) soft key to select
Channel 1.
3.2.10.2 Press power (I) on 3865 Remote. If “No Communications”
displayed, press MENU key, press (F6) soft key to select Next Menu,
press (F5) soft key to select Set Comm. Channel, then press (F1) soft
key to select Channel 1 and press Enter.
3.2.10.3 Check communication control between Pump and Remote as
follows:
3.2.10.3.1 On 3865 Remote, press (F1) soft key to highlight
Rate, then press Up arrow to set rate to 100 mL/hr,
and then ENTER. With VTBI highlighted press Up
arrow and set VTBI to 200 mL. Load IV Set in Pump,
