and verify average flow rate on infusion analyzer is 25 ml +/- 5% or
graduated beaker contains 4.2 ml +/- 5%. (3.99 - 4.41)
3.2.7 SpO2 Verification
3.2.7.1 Connect 1170 test F.O. probe to pump. Press Cancel to return
to Resume Therapy Screen, verify SpO2 is displayed in lower portion of
screen on both Pump and Remote.
3.2.7.2 Connect 1170 test F.O. Probe to Pronk Technologies OxSim,
insure IR and Red LEDs are on, and press mode switch to select 98% /
80bpm. Verify Pump displays SpO2 of 98% +/- 1 & 80 +/-1 BPM and
PI: 4.0 +/- .5%.
3.2.7.3 Press Mode and select 99% Low Perf. Verify Pump and
Remote displays SpO2 of 99% +/- 1, & 80 +/-1 BPM, and PI: 0.3 +/-
.2%.
3.2.7.4 Select New Patient or verify normal Pump display with the
Rate 1.0 highlighted. With a rate of 83.2 and VTBI of 999, open Door
and insert IV Set filled with water and close Door. Press the START/
STOP key and verify Green (run LED) begins flashing and SpO2 is dis-
played in the lower portion of the screen on both Pump and Remote.
3.2.7.5 Press Mode and select 98%, 140 bpm. Verify Pump and
Remote displays SpO2 of 98% +/- 1 & 140 +/-1 BPM and PI: 3.0 +/-
.5%.
3.2.7.6 On Pump, press Menu, Next Menu (F6), Spo2 Menu (F4), and
HR Hi Limit: (F2). Verify 200 bpm highlighted. With Down Arrow select
130 bpm and press Enter. On both the Pump and Remote, verify “High
HR” displayed alternately with battery icon at top of screen, Alarm
sound and Alarm LED. Reset HR Hi Limit to 200 bpm. Press ALARM
SILENCE and verify “HIGH HR” is not displayed at the top of the screen.
3.2.7.7 Press Next Menu (F6) and select SpO2 menu (F4) and verify
SpO2 Low Lim: 85% is highlighted. With Up Arrow select 90% and
press Enter twice. With OxSim Mode switch select 85% 80 bpm. Verify
Pump and Remote displays SpO2 of 85% +/- 1 & 80 +/-1 BPM, Low
SpO2 displayed alternately with battery icon at top of screen, Alarm
sound and alarm LED
3.2.7.8 Remove 1170 test F.O. Probe from OxSim and verify Probe
Off, Alarm sound and Alarm LED flashing on both Pump and Remote.
3.2.7.9 Disconnect 1170 test probe from Pump and verify No Probe is
displayed alternately with battery icon at top of screen, Alarm sound
and Alarm LED. Press Alarm Silence and verify Alarm reset and SpO2
removed from screen on both Pump and Remote.
3.2.8 3861 PM Service Mode Verification
Reference the Section 2 Service Mode description. Service Mode is
accessed by pressing the overlay KeyPad On (I) button and the holding
the overlay KeyPad Cancel key depressed until the service Mode is
displayed. Note, the following procedure is the same for both
3861Pump. Press B Start/Stop key to access Service Mode B.
