Remove the controller module from the chassis.
See 5.1 Replacing the
Controller Module for details.
2. Remove the BBU module (see the previous section).
3. Remove the top screw and side screw of the top cover and remove it from the
controller chassis.

Pull the retention latches away from the FBM.
Use your finger nails if the FBM
does not easily disengage Once released, the flash module will pop up. You can
then remove it from the socket.

Insert the replacement FBM into the socket at a 15 degree angle.
When fully
inserted, press the flash module down until it is snapped by the retention latches.
5.4
Replacing the Power Supply Module
The power supply modules (PSU_ are fully redundant. Each PSU module is housed
in a robust steel canister.
5.4.1
Detecting a Failed PSU
If a PSU fails, the system notifies you through the following indicators:
PSU located at the rear
PSU LED
PSU LED
Audible alarm (See
1.5.4 Audible Alarms
for details)
Firmware utility (See Firmware User Manual in the CD-ROM for details)
SANWatch manager software (See SANWatch User Manual in the CD-ROM for
details)
