2.6.3 Dual-Bus System

A dual-bus system consists of two independent 1.2 MW systems. Each 1.2 MW system
consists of one or two 1.2 MW UPSs. One of the two UPS systems is a master system, and the
other is a slave system. The dual-bus system is highly reliable and is suitable for loads with
multiple input terminals. You can install an optional static transfer switch (STS) to start a bus
synchronization controller (BSC) provided in standard configuration. The UPS systems work
in inverter mode or bypass mode.
