Retry the operation.
•
Attempt the Force Tape Eject process.
Once the tape cartridge is ejected, unlock
the magazine holding the cartridge and
inspect the cartridge for damage. Discard
the tape cartridge if it is damaged. (See
“
Forcing the drive to eject a tape (Sup-
port > Force Drive To Eject
Tape)
” on page 105).

If a tape drive is installed, re-seat it by
removing it and replacing it.
No drive installed. A tape drive has never
been installed.

Upgrade the tape drive firmware to the
current version and try to download the
support ticket again.

Use the OCP or RMI to power cycle the
tape drive and then retry the operation.

Attempt to use L&TT to get the tape drive
support ticket.
