Main po w er cable installation must be performed b y trained service personnel
or electrician only . Incorrect installation will result in serious injury to operating
personnel and damage to equipment.
Caution
Do not connect the main p o w er cable to the outlet at y our site un til after the
insp ection of all system instrumen ts. This will protect the system instrumen ts
from damage and service p ersonnel from injury . Refer to \T esting Eac h
Instrumen t".
Use the following instructions for installing the main p o w er cable:
1. Set the main p o w er switc h of the PDU to
OFF.
2. Op en the rear do or and disconnect all the
p o w er cables of the instrumen ts and hour meter.
3. Remov e the rear panel b y remo ving the four
screws.
4. Remov e the c hassis ground cable of the PDU
from the cabinet frame.
