1.
Remo
v
e
the
supp ort
shelf
and
fron
t
panel
(left-
and
right-hand
plates)
from
the
system
cabinet.
2.
La
y
the
supp ort
shelf
(1)
on
a
at
surface.
3.
Thread
the
strap
(2)
as
follo
ws:
a.
P
osition
the
buc
kle,
with
the
protective
pad
facing
do
wn
and
the
free
end
of
the
strap
to
the
right,
near
the
left-hand
strap
hole
on
the
supp ort
shelf.
Make
sure
the
strap
is
not
t
wisted.
b.
F
eed
the
free
end
of
the
strap
in
to
the
right-hand
strap
hole
of
b oth
the
supp ort
shelf
and
the
cross
b eam,
then
out
the
left-hand
strap
hole
of
eac
h.
c.
La
y
eac
h
end
of
the
strap
o
v
er
the
sides
of
the
supp ort
shelf.
4.
Place
the
con
troller
on
the
supp ort
shelf,
making
sure
the
four
feet
of
the
con
troller
t
in
to
their
holes
on
the
shelf.
5.
F
asten
the
strap
as
follo ws:
a.
Thread
the
free
end
of
the
strap
through
the
strap
buc
kle.
b.
P
osition
the
strap
buc
kle
on
one
side
of
the
con
troller.
c.
Tighten
the
strap
around
the
con
troller,
but
not
to
o
tightly
.
There
should
b e
enough
slack
to
lift
the
buc
kle
appro
ximately
12.7
mm
(0.5
in)
a
w
a
y
from
the
con
troller
d.
Close
the
buc
kle,
securing
the
strap.
6.
Place
the
con
troller
and
supp ort
shelf
assem
bly
on
the
side
rails
of
the
cabinet
and
push
the
assem
bly
in
to
the
cabinet.
7.
Place
a
cup
w
asher
(6),
then
an
insert
w
asher
(7)
on
eac
h
at-head
screw
(8).
8.
Place
the
fron
t
panel
(3)
o
v
er
the
con
troller
and
secure
the
fron
t
panel
to
the
supp ort
shelf
of
the
con
troller,
then
to
the
system
cabinet,
using
the
furnished
at-head
screws
and
w
ashers.
9.
If
installing
a
bac
kplane
expander,
p osition
the
left-hand
plate
(4)
and
right-hand
plate
(5)
on
b oth
sides
of
the
expander
and
secure
the
plates
to
the
bac
kplane
expander
using
the
furnished
at-head
screws
and
w
ashers.
