The follo wing error message is display ed:

P ossible Cause Solution
The o wner, group, or p ermission of
/usr/p cs/bin/p csstart is incorrect.
Its o wner and group are \ro ot". The p ermission of
p csstart must b e -r-sr-sr-x . Use the following
commands to c hange them:
# chown root /usr/pcs/bin/pcsstart
# chgrp root /usr/pcs/bin/pcsstart
# chmod 6555 /usr/pcs/bin/pcsstart
The follo wing error message is display ed at a diskless cno de:
Location = Open_hpib()
Function = open()
Parameter = /dev/rmb/hpib27
No such device
or
Location = Open_hpib()
Function = open()
Parameter = /dev/rmb/hpib27
File table overflow
P ossible Cause Solution
The k ernel for the diskless cno de is not
sucien t. The device driv ers hpib and
98624 are not in the k ernel, or ndilbuffer
is set to 1.
Chec k the k ernel conguration using
/usr/lib/rmb/rm b dle command. See Instal ling
and Maintaining the BASIC/UX System and
Chapter 5.
