Using the Service page
The service is the process that provides HP DSS Workflow
processing on the server. The service must be started before the
HP DSS Workflow can communicate with MFPs and process
scanned documents.
Press Start to start services.
Press Stop to stop services and send the HP DSS Workflow offline.
See table 6-2 for a list of Service page feature.
Table 6-2. Service page features
Field Description
Startup Type Use this field to select the startup type for the service. Automatic
restarts the service automatically if the server is restarted. Manual
requires the service to be restarted manually every time the server is
restarted. Disabled marks the service as disabled so that it cannot be
started. Hewlett-Packard recommends using the Automatic option to
ensure that the service starts after the server is restarted.
Log on NT As The default account name for this field is the LocalSystem account.
This account must be changed to a valid user account, which will be
used to start the services. Type in the Domain Name followed by the
Account Name (Domain Name\NT User ID).

This account must have Log on as a service enabled.
