MFP Chai jar file installation 25
To install MFP Chai jar files by using the embedded
Web server in the MFP (4100mfp and 9000mfp)
To load MFP Chai jar files on the MFP manually, the files must be
available as a universal resource locator (URL) address. To make the
MFP Chai jar files available for manual installation, use one of the
following methods:

Place the files on a Web server.
-OR-

When using IIS, place the files in a directory on the IIS server and
enable Web sharing on the directory. Make sure to enable Read
and Directory Browsing in the Access permissions.
-OR-
●
Use any other method after which the printer can open the files
through a URL reference.
To use the alternative location of the MFP Chai jar files
from the HP website
When MFP Chai jar files are not available from a URL, browse to the
HP support website at
http://www.hp.com/support/dss .
Note
The printer on which the files are to be installed must be connected to
the Internet.
