HPS file generation
The HPS file generation tab provides the basic attributes that control
the generation of an HPS file. These attributes activate HPS file
generation, provide destination information, and control the file pass-
thru to other components within the same workflow.
Note
The HPS file does not support JPG file format. An HPS file cannot be
generated when a button is created that generates a JPG file.

This enables HPS file
generation.
This string becomes the Title
field within the HPS file.
This is the folder path that
stores the HPS and the image
file.
Pass-thru On/off ● On: Activates the
Component tab and
enables creation of a
second image file and
associated process.
● Off: Deactivates the
Component tab. Only the
HPS and image file that are
configured in the HPS
Generation tab are created.
Note
Turn the pass-thru setting off
when you only need the HPS
and the image files, and do not
require the other components
to create additional files.
