Licensing
Introduction
The information in this section explains how to obtain, install, and
manage the HP DSS Workflow license.
The HP DSS Workflow server supports multiple components that are
managed under a single license number. The License tab lists all of
the components and provides a way to manage licenses.
Note
A single license number is used to manage all of the HP DSS Workflow
components. Select any component to perform license operations.
Getting an HP DSS Workflow license
Contact an HP reseller to purchase HP DSS Workflow licenses. The
software package contains license software CDs and a software-CD
insert.
The back cover of the CD case contains a license number. This
number is used in conjunction with a unique number that is generated
by the server operating the HP DSS Workflow server software. These
numbers work together to activate the MFP licenses that have been
purchased.
After installing the HP DSS Workflow server software, the licenses
must be activated within 30 days or before 300 documents have been
sent (whichever is sooner).
