Determining the Boot Path
The path to a device and function for an adapter card in an I/O card cage should be in the Read Me First
packet that was shipped with the system. If it is not in the packet, you can determine the path to a device and
function for an adapter card in an I/O card cage using the Offline Diagnostic Environment (ODE) module
called, MAPPER2. For instructions on how to run ODE, refer to “Running Offline Diagnostics and Utilities”
on page 115.
