Test Equipment Operation
The test procedures give critical instrument settings and connections, but they do
not tell how to operate the test instruments. Refer to each instrument’s operating
manual.
a. For connections for an external LO, included as part of HP 8902A Option 003 or 030.
For Option 030 it does not matter which filters are installed (only the switching of the LO
is important).
b.
For Performance Test 4 the HP 8903B requires a CCITT filter (Option 011 or 051).
