Verification Tests
To run the the network analyzer self test
1
On the HP 8753 network analyzer, disconnect all devices and peripherals
(including all test set interconnects).

Turn the network analyzer, and press the
Preset
key.

Calibration Data
Tests the calibration data stored in the instrument.
HW-Interface
Tests the hardware interface.
ADC
Tests the analog to digital converter.
Laser Board
Tests the laser driver board.
Motor 1
Tests the first of two motors used to control the tuning of the laser.
Motor 2
Tests the second of two motors used to control the tuning of the laser.
Motor 3
Tests the motor used to control the attenuation.
