Video Playback and Searching
Playing Back Recorded Clips
To play back recorded video clips, press
PLAY
( ) on the HRDV16/8 front panel. The Go
To Search screen displays in the lower half of the screen while the last viewed video clip is
paused and displays in the background.
Note
If
Timelapse
is selected and a
Go To
performed, you can play back
video like one big VCR tape without having to jump from clip to clip.
If
Event
is selected and a
Go To
performed, you may only be able to
play back video from within a single, short video clip.
Select
Play Last Recorded Clip
and press
Enter
to start viewing the last recorded clip.
Or specify the desired time frame for the clip you wish to play back, select
Go To
and press
Enter
.
Note
The
Play Last Recorded Clip
feature assumes user preferences/clip order is
set to reverse chronological order. This feature plays back the first clip in the
review clips list. The clip can be the most current event or it could be the last
timelapse clips started up to 15 minutes ago, or if Autobreak is disabled the
timelapse clip could have started a week ago.
If not in reverse order, pressing
PLAY
plays back the oldest clip available.
Searching for Video Clips with the Go To Search Screen

on the Go To search screen.
Initially, clips play back at normal forward speed (real-time speed). You may play back the
video images in forward or reverse, and at speeds varying from freeze frame to real time
(NTSC—up to 60 fps for HRDV16, 30 fps for HRDV8; PAL—up to 50 fps for HRDV16, 25
