What you see and how you view images depends on the choices you made in Setup mode.
For example, you can:

Display the date and title of each camera on top of the image

•

Display the image without a camera title

•

Select how fast text from the Text Insertion Ports scrolls by

•

Select how many lines of text are displayed

Configuring the Video Inputs

Note

Text must be displayed on the live (main) monitor to be recorded and
accessed during Playback mode.

When you are monitoring live audio, the audio output is the signal obtained from a
microphone hooked up to the audio input. The audio level from the output is the standard
audio level put out by a consumer VCR. You can control this level using the volume controls
of a speaker with a built-in amplifier.
