Video Playback and Searching

This chapter describes how to play back video clips:

From the most recently recorded clips

Using the Go To search function

Using the Reports function

Using the Search function

Note

All the procedures in this chapter allow live recording to continue.

Note

The HRDV allows you to list up to 10,000 video clips at a time. When
performing searches for recent clips, your search parameters must be refined
so that this number is not exceeded for these clips to be displayed.

Using the Autoplay Function

If you have enabled Autoplay (see

Chapter 9, User Preferences

), the system plays back

multiple clips automatically. If Autoplay is enabled you can use the and control
buttons to advance or reverse one clip at a time. You can also use the jog wheel to freeze
a clip, alter its speed, or change the playback direction.

The following procedures assume that Autoplay is disabled.
