Disconnect six connectors from digital board A1 in this order: A1J7, A1J4, A1J12, A1J3,
A1J13, A1J10.
d.
Remove six screws (43), two screws (44), eight shoulder washers (20) and two spacers
(38) from digital board A1. Note size and location of screws and shoulder washers for
proper installation during assembly. Lift away protective sheet (52).
e.
Lift up digital board A1 from analog board A2 and graphics module (24) and disconnect
connectors A1J11, A1J6, and A1J5 from digital board A1.
5.8.1.1.2 Analog Board A2
a.
Remove digital board A1 (Section 5.8.1.1.1).
b.
Disconnect connector A2P1.
5.8.1.1.3 Graphics Module
a.
Remove digital board A1 (Section 5.8.1.1.1)
b.
Disconnect connectors A4J3 and A4J4 from heater/EL control board A4.
c.
Remove four standoffs (40) and remove graphics module (24) from keypad panel (1).
d.
Remove three spacers (41) and one “D” spacer (55).
NOTE: Take care to keep graphics module free of fingerprints, dust, etc.
5.8.1.1.4 Heater/EL Control Board A4
a.
Remove graphics module (Section 5.8.1.1.3).
b.
Disconnect five connectors (A4J1-A4J5) from heater/EL control board A4.
c.
Remove four nuts (49) and one washer (42), and remove heater/EL control board A4 from
keypad panel (1).
d.
Remove three spacers (28).
5.8.1.1.5 Harness Assembly (Figure 5-19)
The harness assembly consists of the parts that remain in the keypad panel (Figure 5-17, (1)) after the
circuit boards have been removed.

5.8.1.2.1 Power Supply Board A3
a.
Turn unit upside down.
b.
Remove eight screws (32), two screws (33), and remove bottom cover (3).
c.
Disconnect connectors A3J2 and A3J3 from power supply board A3.
d.
Disconnect power supply board junction (Figure 5-19, (8)) from harness assembly.
e.
Remove four nuts (47), 2 washers (42), and remove power supply board A3 from chassis
(2).
f.
Remove two spacers (28).
