5.9.2.2.2 Graphics Module A2
a.
Install three #4 x 5/16” nylon rnd. spacers (41) and one #4 x 5/16” “D” spacer (55).
b.
Install graphics module (24) on keypad panel (1) and secure with four 4-40 X 13/16” hex
standoffs (40).
NOTE: Take care to keep graphics module free of fingerprints, dust, etc.
5.9.2.2.3 Digital Board A1 and Analog Board A2
NOTE: The digital board A1 and analog board A2 must be installed at the same time.
a.
Install graphics module (Section 5.9.2.2.2).
b.
Attach connector (A1J11) to digital board A1
c.
Attach connector pins A1J2 on underside of digital board A1 to connector A2P2 on analog
board A2.
d.
Attach six connectors (Figure 5-19) to digital board A1 in this order: A1J10, A1J13, A1J3,
A1J6, A1J5, and A1J12.
e.
Attach connector pins on underside of digital board A1 to connector on graphics module
(24). Make sure connectors mate properly, with no bent pins.
Ensure that connector wires are not pinched.
f.
Attach connectors A1J7 and A1J4 to digital board A1.
g.
Attach connector A2P1 to analog board A2.
h.
Place protective sheet (52) on digital board A1 and secure digital board with eight #4
shoulder washers (20), six 4-40 x 1/4 pan php. cad. screws (43), two 4-40 x 7/8 pan. php.
cad. screws (44), and two 1/2” 1/4 o.d. #4 nylon spacers (38).
i.
Close unit, again watching for pinched connector wires.
j.
Install bezel (4) on keypad panel (1) and secure with ten 4-40 x 3/16 php. blk. screws (32)
and four 4-40 x 1/4 pan. php. blk. screws (33).
