FasTrak Test
D.5.3.1 Test Setup (Ref. Figure D-5)
NOTE: This test provides a high level of confidence that the FasTrak is operating properly.
Before doing the FasTrak test, apply the special overlay to the calibrator disk. See Figure D-6 for
samples that can be copied or recreated. Unplug the 14883 cable from the “D” connector on the
8520CS Signal Selector.
NOTE: This test should be performed in a well-lit room.

Place calibrator on its back on a flat surface.
b.
Place FasTrak on its side with the pin connector facing to the right. The window should be
facing the calibrator approximately six inches away.
