Basic Panel Operations
4.
Press the preferred level button(s), that would correspond to the levels
required for the breakaway switch. The selected level buttons will then
turn white. Press the preferred
Levels
button. The selected level buttons
will then turn white.
5.
Press the
Select Source
button, the Source menu will then appear.
6.
Select the preferred Source. The panel will automatically return to the
Level menu. The
Level
button will have the currently selected Source, if
any, on line 2 and the preset source (the one just selected) will be
displayed on line 1. For more information about button lines see the
section.
7.
Press the
TAKE
button. The selected buttons will now return to amber
and the switch will then occur. The active Source is now displayed on
line 2 of the button.
The Level mode also supports “Sticky Levels.” When the Sticky Levels
feature is enabled (or turned on), the previously selected levels will remain
selected after a Take is preformed.
Note
If “Sticky Levels” is NOT turned on, then the selected levels will automatically
be de-selected when the take button is pressed.
Setting all Levels On or OFF
The ability to quickly turn all levels on or off with a single button push is
offered in this mode. The
Set All levels
button will select or deselect all but-
tons. The
Set All levels
button is #11 on the LCD16 and #31 on the LCD47. To
select a specific level, press the preferred Level button.
The purpose of the
Select All levels
button is to give you a fast way to turn all
the levels on (or all the levels off) with a single button press. For example,
to switch all the levels except for the first level, you would press the
All
Levels - ON
button to select all the levels. Then you press the first level button
to de-select it. All levels have now been selected, except for the first level,
in two button presses.
The following instruction describe how to set all levels on or off in more
detail than the example above. These instructions assume that the Level
mode has already been selected and that all levels are off and are amber.
Follow these steps to set all levels either on or off.
1.
Press the
Set All Levels
button. All the available levels associated with the
selected destinations are now highlighted white including any levels
that are on different pages. The button text will now display “SET ALL
LEVELS- OFF.” This text indicates that if the button is pressed again,
that ALL the levels will be de-selected or turned Off.
