Basic Panel Operations

The Category Entry mode functions as a single Source can be assigned to a
single destination and will switch all levels. The ability to do a Lock or
Protect is allowed and will occur on all levels of the selected destination.
You must be in the main menu to see the
Category Entry
button.
There are two methods for finding a category, “Direct Entry,” and “Scroll.”
Using the Direct Entry Method
Follow these steps to select a category using the Direct Entry method:
1. Press the Scroll wheel to go to the Main menu.
2. Press the
Category Entry Mode?
button. The Category Entry menu will then
appear
.
3. Press the preferred
Category Entry
button. The selected Category is then
active and the other available categories will be removed from the
button display.
4. Press the preferred numbered button.
5. Press the
TAKE
button to make the selection active. The button will now
return to the original color and the switch will then occur.
Using the Scroll Method
Follow these steps to select a category using the Scroll method:
1. Press the Scroll wheel to go to the Main menu.
2. Press the
Category Entry Mode?
button. The Category Entry menu will then
appear

3. Use the Scroll wheel to preview or search through the categories
4. Press the preferred

button.
5. Use the Scroll wheel to preview or search through the Sources.
6. Press the preferred Source button.
