2 Setup and Calibration
The system is calibrated at the factory using clean laboratory standards. For best
results we recommend that the user calibrate using the process conditions. The
system has TWO types of calibration that can reference sample measurements:
Factory and Process Calibration. The factory calibration is to be used as
reference. Calibration may be done in the field using sample conditions; the user
may alter the data acquired by the system in the View/Edit calibration screen. Up
to 8 data points may be entered and the user may select either a Linear fit or a
curve fit equation. For a range where the upper and lower limits are known the
curve fit gives the best fit, if the range is extended, select the Linear fit for best
approximation.
