6.4 OPTIONAL Lamp Supply Control Board
Using the OPTIONAL Lamp Supply Control Board the user may power multiple
sensors. The sensors may be Flow cells (MTF, MTS, MSA, MSAD, etc.) using
Lamps or Probes (CSK, CSS, FS4, etc.) using LED’s.
The Messenger PC with Lamp Supply Control Board enables the customer to
connect the following sensors to one Messenger PC converter:

1 Model 210 (TS2)
•
2 MoniTurb F
•
2 MoniSpec AD
•
4 CSK probes
•
2 MoniTurb S
•
2 MoniSpec A
•
4 CSS probes
The Board has jumpers for selecting the type of sensor lamp to power. Jumpers
J4, J5 and J6 on the Lamp Supply Control Board are for selecting the source as
either a sensor with a Halogen Lamp or a Probe with an LED.
For sensors with Halogen lamps (MTF, MSA, MSAD, etc.) the Jumper(s) is/are
INSTALLED (1A current). For sensors with LED(s) (CSK, CSS, FS4, etc.) the
Jumper(s) is/are REMOVED:

CONNECTING A PROBE DEVICE TO A CHANNEL THAT IS
CONFIGURED FOR A LAMP DEVICE WILL DAMAGE THE PROBE.
NOTE: These jumper settings are configured at the factory and should not
be changed.
