Weather Spot Information
You can get various weather information for any area with the weather spot informa-
tion feature, in the Voyage navigation and Voyage planning modes. The weather over-
lay must be active and position data available.
1. Right-click the location for which you want to know its weather
to show the context-sensitive menu.
2. Click [Weather INFO] to show the [Weather Spot Information]
window. The window shows [N/A] where there is no data for the
corresponding weather item.
3. To erase the window, click the Close button at the top right corner of the window.

The table below summarizes the operability and viewability of the weather overlay ac-
cording to the operating mode.

L/L position of weather forecast.
Wind
Wind speed (kn) and direction (degree).
Temperature Temperature, in °C.
Cloud
Coverage
The fraction of the sky obscured by clouds, ex-
pressed in percentage.
Precipitation
Rate
The amount of precipitation (rain, snow, etc.) in
millimeters to fall in one hour.
Wave
Wave height (in meters) and wave direction (in
degrees).
Ocean
Current
Current velocity (kn) and direction (degree).
Pressure
Atmospheric pressure, expressed in hPa.
