1.
Clean all the parts thoroughly prior to assembly.
2.
If the tooling has been cleaned in a deresinating
bath, grease all the parts thoroughly to prevent them
from rusting.
3.
Wet the bearing tracks of the appropriate tool flange
with lubrication paste (e.g. Molykote, Fluortek) or
spray oil to guarantee the smooth running of the mat-
ing surface.
4.
Slightly lubricate the thread of the adjusting screw.
5.
Ensure that the safety ring sits properly on the adjust-
ing screw.
6.
Ensure that both springs are pushed down onto the
headless screws and the latter are screwed tightly.
7.
Screw the scoring blade disc onto the tool flange
with the Torx screws.
8.
join both tool halves together and turn the second
adjusting screw until the scoring tool is completely
closed.
9.
Set the desired width.
10.
Fit in the scoring unit.
