Making adjustments and preparations

The splitter has to be adapted to the thickness of the saw
blade. The splitter thickness has to be between that of the
saw blade body and the width of the sawtooth.
Fitting/Changing the splitter

Loosen the nut.
2.
Remove the splitter if required.
3.
Fit the splitter in.
Take care that the splitter holder studs fit in the split-
ter groove.
4.
Adjust the splitter.

Splitter
Use the overhead saw guard with saw blades with a
diameter measuring more than 315 mm.
To achieve the maximum level of protection and dust
extraction, place the overhead saw guard as low as pos-
sible (onto the workpiece to be machined).
1.
Loosen the thumb screw.
2.
Use the handle to move the overhead saw guard
upwards or downwards.
3.
Tighten the thumb screw.
