9-9. Logical Channel Assignment
When crosspoint switching or other control operations are performed by a remote control unit or
serial control device (such as a computer) for a routing switcher, logical channel numbers are
used for exchanging commands in the operations for destination and source channels. In the
factory setting, the actual physical channel numbers and logical channel numbers of the routing
switcher destination and source have a simple one-to-one correspondence as shown below.
