As an alternative to using the JCU as described above, the IR Camera
menu system can be used:

12.2.5 Adjustment area
The IR Camera automatically adjusts the image based on the scene con-
tents. By selecting different adjustment areas, it is possible to control
which part of the scene that shall be used when adjusting the image.
The selected area has an impact on the adjustments of level (brightness),
span (contrast) and color distribution, as described in section 5.2.2.
NOTE
: When the digital zoom is used, the adjustment area may be outside the part of the
image that is visible on the monitor. In that case, the adjustment area setting may have
to be changed.
