5.1.5.2
Automatically controlled blocking
If the shut-off valve is in the pressurise state, the auto-locking control bit output, Am.0.1, of the
measured flow rate is compared with the adjustable limit value in the auto-blocking flow rate limit
value, P19-20, parameter. If this limit value is not reached for the duration of the value set in the auto
blocking delay time parameter, P17-18, the shut-off valve will switch to the blocking state.
Fig. 9: Auto blocking function
The automatic blocking function is activated when the auto blocking control bit output, Am.0.1, is
activated and the blocking control bit output, Am.0.0, is inactive. In this state, the measured flow value
is compared with the limit value set in the auto blocking low flow limit parameter, P19-20. If the limit
value is undershot, the auto blocking timer is started.
The status of the timer is available in the auto blocking timer status bits input, Em.3.4-3.5, and can
have the following values:
RESET: the timer is reset and not started, the shut-off valve is in the pressurise state.
RUN: the timer has started, the delay time has not yet expired, the shut-off valve is in the pressurise
state.
UP: the delay time has expired, the shut-off valve is in the blocking state.
