Make sure there is nothing blocking the robot or the tape
drive.

Make sure the autoloader is not being used by any host,
then reset the autoloader from the operator panel. If
necessary, power the autoloader off and back on to reset
the tape drive.

could not successfully pick a
cartridge because it was still
loaded in the tape drive.

pick from a full cartridge slot.

Remove the cartridge magazine and look for anything that
might be obstructing the robot.
