5. Click on the radio button next to the drive you want to unload. (D1 is the
tape drive closest to the fixed slots; D2 is located directly to the right of D1.)

Note: To move the cartridge to a cartridge slot or the entry/exit port, use the
Move Cartridge command (see page 128 ).

Under normal operating conditions, you do not need to calibrate the library.
However, if a problem occurs, you may be asked by Exabyte Technical Support
personnel to calibrate the library as part of a troubleshooting procedure. You
can calibrate the entire library, the entry/exit port, or an individual tape drive.
Calibrating the Library
To calibrate the entire library:
1. 1. 1. 1. Set the library’s control mode to Remote (see page 92 ).
2. 2. 2. 2. Click on Maintenance at the top of the page.
3. 3. 3. 3. Click on Calibrate library elements.
4. 4. 4. 4. Click on Calibrate the library.
5. 5. 5. 5. Click on the Calibrate Library button to begin calibration.
6. 6. 6. 6. When calibration is complete, return the library to its original control mode.
